American Neurological Association Annual 2012 Annual Meeting
One of ANA’s most successful networking offerings at the Annual Meeting are Special Interest Group Symposia that include parallel sessions featuring an interactive review of recent discoveries in multiple specialty areas. This year’s format has changed so that abstracts selected for talks are listed in the program as oral presentations. Senior leaders should encourage junior faculty to take advantage of this opportunity to give an oral presentation at the ANA/ABN meeting in a Special Interest Group Symposia. You will be able to indicate your interest in presenting in one of these Symposia during the abstract submission process. The Symposia are well-attended so make sure you take advantage of this new opportunity.
New In 2012: Because ANA is THE home for academic neurologists, the ANA and ABN joint meeting will also offer faculty development training for all levels of academic leadership including junior and mid-level faculty as well as sessions for Chairs being offered by the Association of University Professors of Neurology (AUPN). Courses will be offered as part of the Annual Meeting each day. These sessions will enhance the scholarship of teaching and learning within the field of neurology.
