Neurodegeneration: From Multiple Sclerosis to Alzheimer’s Disease
The focus of the conference will be on the scientific progress we are seeing in molecular and clinical aspects of Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s Disease and other related diseases and will include novel therapeutic approaches and drug design. Thus, the conference will cover basic and applied research in neurodegeneration which should be of particular interest to molecular biologists and clinicians as well. We aim at bringing together key investigators from the various disciplines to provide a forum for stimulating discussions. The meeting will be restricted to a maximum of 100 participants and will include poster presentations from scientists who wish to participate at the conference.
Young scientists from Germany, Europe and overseas should be particularly attracted by this symposium, which should certainly help the up-and-coming researchers to get first-hand information, to develop contacts with other laboratories and in some cases to provide the basis for a post-doc career. Therefore Ph.D. students and scientists early in their career are explicitly invited to attend this conference.
